Welcome to the weekend that came at the perfect time, which I spent with perfect people having a perfectly wonderful time...
The majority of the time was spent shouting at the TV whilst the rugby was on, eating Dids' wonderful cooking until we got to the 'if i eat anymore I'll die' feeling, lazing around putting the world to rights, catching hypothermia whilst surfing and 'bumping' into moving objects...
Here's a couple of photos of our eventful weekend
Which came first? We bought 3 chickens!! |
Beautiful beachhh |
The ridge is STEEPER than it appears! |
Failed attempt... JMPND |
The excitement when La-Toya caught a shrimp was.... unreal. |
Did I mention we ate 3 chickens in 24 hours? |
Making banofee pie, whilst looking dapper! |
After maybe a little too much laughter at the fact Nina was attempting to wear a fluorescent yellow shorty, in the sea, with no gloves or booties in FEBRUARY!
Apparently the gillet made it better? |
The sea...
... in February
...after being wrapped up in a warm house
...was a questionable idea!
But we lasted well did a bit of skim boarding, and even managed a bit of surfing too!
THE MOST SUPREME YORKSHIRE PUD EVER!
I don't know if i previously mentioned that we literally spent the whole weekend eating yummy foods?!
We casually went for a late night stroll onto the beach so Raleigh Pats could conclude the weekend!
And the highlight of Dids' weekend... the cape!
So after a weekend of too much laughter and too little sleep, Nina made us get up at 6.30 to travel home...
And if you know me, you'll be aware how AGAINST mornings I am...
Not only have I had a wonderful weekend, I now only have 2 days till I see my Mumma!
I'm a very happy and very excited girl!
Over and out,
Megan
